GDTRFB is the best version I have heard. Jerry goes bezerk on the solo and leaves you freaking with goosebumps.

great second set
Truckin - tight, ripping licks - the mix gets considerably better 8 min. in until end of show
Other One - everything described below and more
Stella Blue - full of feeling, Jerry forgets the lyrics two or three times, still a great version!
NFA-GDTRFB-HB-NFA - This may be on many people's shortlist but the last NFA cuts out. The GDTRFB is very, very hot, even for 72 . . .
Great show, great run. 5 reviews? Come on!

this show is completely out of this world!
really picks up at tennesse jed...soon followed by an absolutely stunning playin' in the band jam that literally just melts and oozes like fresh m&m candy coating.
and then...of course...there's the other one.
nobody was kidding about this other one...it's a joy...it's a groove and a joy and it goes on and on and gets better with every note. it could have gone on for two days and i wouldn't even have gone to the bathroom.
there's a short cut in the middle of tennessee jed & most of he's gone gets cut...but everything else that happens on this night more than makes up for it.
i'm getting more & more brave, slowly working my way out of the 60s shows...recently figured out how good '70 is and now i'm really hung up on 1972. this show is definitely giving 8.24.72 a run for the money.
gee whiz this is good...

Phil: Is God...
I'll keep it short and sweet by just saying that by listening to this version of "the other one", i've seen god, and he wears glasses and holds a gnarly-lookin' bass. phil is nothing short of a fucking true sonic-assassin on this... from the start, he's propelling the jam and bringing garcia in to the fold full-force, and it absolutely starts to steamroll... then, about halfway thru, phil starts in with theeeee most destructo, full-on death bomb solo i've ever had the pleasure to hear him play... it's the type of thing that makes time stop, and makes breathing a struggle... he honestly never lets up in this version, and it is a truly exciting piece of music to listen to... given that it's only a few days short of 8/27, this "other one", when placed in that context, is practically on par w/that night's "dark star"... no? worth every single second it takes to download... right on.

What A Show!
The day after I turned 3 years old and they knew all I wanted for my BDAY was a fat-ass Other One and some "special" Apple Sauce! Thanks fellas for making it such a special day! From the end of Truckin its at least 20 minutes until Weir even starts to sing! Classic!

OTHER ONE!!!
First off this show smokes from start to finish. Most noteably though is The Other One. Phil is sick throughout especially towards the back end when hes just jammin all alone. Absolutely worth the download and highly recommended.

GDTRFB solo
Overall good show as all 70s shows are...but my point of interest/curiosity is the lead solo on GDTRFB especially from
4:15 onwards...so exquisite & raw at the same time. I'ved listened to more than 10-15 version of the song from other shows but never get the same feel again. Just curious is it Jerry's or someone else on the lead? 4*s for it.
